‘I was scared,’ Cosby accuser says of alleged assault aftermath


NORRISTOWN, Pa. (Reuters) – The girl whose accusation brought Bill Cosby to demo in Pennsylvania on intercourse-assault charges testified on Friday that the comedian drugged and raped her in 2004 and she was terrified to tell any person for months afterward.

It was the next time that accuser Andrea Constand, 45, confronted the 80-year-old entertainer in the suburban Philadelphia courtroom. Cosby stood demo final year on the charges, but the jury was unable to arrive at a verdict.

With Constand living in her indigenous Canada by this time, they went to the Durham Regional Police in Ontario and later on instructed her brother-in-legislation, a Toronto law enforcement detective.
