Jharkhand On Alert After Sukma Attack || Jharkhand || ThePoliticalIndia: Jharkhand is on high alert, after the Maoist ambush of a CRPF team in the Chhattisgarh. This was worst Naxal attack in recent years.
“An operation is underway in the Bura Pahar area, The entire area has sealed,” sources said.
The MHA wants the report to be submitted as soon as possible. The Sukma attack points to a leadership failure and needs for operations in Maoist.
Sukma is the worst Maoist violence district in south Bastar area of the state. The encounter with the 74 battalions of CRPF occurred at Kala Pathar. The area has reported several Naxal Attacks in the past.

At the time of an attack, 300 Naxalites were already hiding in the Dhintagufa.
The CRPF Jawan caught and Maoist divided the Jawans into smaller groups and triggered IED blast.
The injured CRPF Jawan said, “Almost 300 Naxals attacked us, first they sent villagers to trace our locations. We also fired and killed many.”
CRPF Jawan Sher Mohammed said, “I shot 3-4 Naxals in the chest.” Most using villagers as the human shield in the gunbattle.
Rajnath Singh said, “Serious discussions are on to ensure that similar incidents do not happen again.”
