(Reuters) – President Donald Trump’s own law firm, Michael Cohen, on Friday submitted for a 90-working day delay in porn star Stormy Daniels’ defamation lawsuit, citing Monday’s raids on his residence, place of work and resort space by U.S. prosecutors.

Cohen had previously notified U.S. District Court docket in Los Angeles on Thursday that he supposed to request a remain in Daniels’ lawsuit in opposition to him and Trump “on the grounds that an ongoing criminal investigation overlaps with the facts of this circumstance.”
