John Kirby, State Department spokesperson told reporters, The Obama Administration is approaching with its bilateral relationship with India “which is very strong and diverse.”
On Friday, the US said, America’s relationship with India is very strong and diverse, even as it welcomed the recently concluded BRICS summit.
Kirby welcomed the recently held eighth BRICS Summit in Goa, In his response to a question. Kirby said, India’s active participation in those negotiations really got us there. We had terrific discussions with India down in Kigali, and we got a very aggressive amendment now.
He said, we welcome both bilateral and multilateral discussions about effective counter-terrorism procedures, tactics, processes, the expenditure of resources; So we certainly welcome that kind of multilateral discussion.
