Arun Jaitley Sues Arvind Kejriwal || New Delhi || ThePoliticalIndia: On Monday, Arun Jaitley, Union Finance Minister filed another defamation case of Rs 10crore against Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal overuse of an offensive word by Kejriwal’s lawyer Ram Jethmalani in High Court.
Jaitley filed new suit after Chief Minister counsel Ram Jethmalani allegedly abused him in open court during the another proceeding which Union Finance Minister filed against the AAP Chief and others.
The noted lawyer has used certain words which have objected to by Arun Jaitley.
Advocate Manik Dogra is representing Arun Jaitley’s case. He said they had filed a defamation suit against Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal as he through his counsel had used abusive language in the open court. This warrants the filing of the separate defamation suit.
“If such remarks have made on instructions of Arvind Kejriwal then he should first step into the box before continuing with Jaitley’s cross-examination,” Justice Manmohan said.
The Judge said, “Let him step into the box, Let Defendant 1(Arvind Kejriwal) make right his allegations.”
Before the court saying they want a clarification from CM about remarks, Jaitley’s advocates Sandeep Sethi and Rajiv Nayar raised the issue.

In December 2015 Arun Jaitley had filed the defamation suit seeking Rs 10 crore damages from CM Arvind Kejriwal and five others claiming that why made false statements in the case involving DDC, thereby harming his reputation.
The Aam Aadmi Party had allegedly attacked Arun Jaitley and his family members in various fora.
