Asaduddin Owaisi dares Amit Shah to contest from Hyderabad seat in Lok Sabha elections | India News

HYDERABAD: Within a couple of hours after BJP national president Amit Shah alleged that the TRS chief Chandrasekhar Rao was resorting to vote bank and minority appeasing politics and TRS had a secret understanding with MIM, All India Majlis-e Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi dared Amit Shah to contest from Hyderabad Lok Sabha in the coming elections, which at present is represented by him.

In a tweet, Asaduddin Owaisi said the BJP would not be able to retain the five sitting MLAs in the assembly elections. He also questioned the strategy of the BJP on various issues. “Welcome,people of Hyderabad & Telangana will defeat your strategy I request @AmitShah to contest from Hyderabad and inshallah MIM will win & BJP will not be able to retain 5 Assembly seats inshallah. What is strategy to control Oil prices , Employment for Youth? BJP has NO Ans,” he tweeted.

Responding to Asaduddin ‘s tweet, BJP’s Telangana president K Laxman, during his speech at Mahbubnagar public meeting late in the evening, said for contesting against Asaduddin , there was no need for a tall leader like Amit Shah, but just any ordinary BJP worker is enough to defeat him. He hoped the party would secure Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat in 2019 elections.
